Meet YUNIU Fiberglass Products at Booth 12.2K09

At this session of the Canton Fair, YUNIU will present several fiberglass product series covering composites, building reinforcement, electrical insulation and other industrial applications.

Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat

Fiberglass chopped strand mat is widely used in FRP composite manufacturing and is suitable for hand lay-up, filament winding and compression molding processes. Typical products include panels, tanks, boats and pipes.

By bonding type, the mat is available in emulsion-bonded and powder-bonded versions: emulsion-bonded mat is mostly used for hand lay-up of boats, while powder-bonded mat is commonly used for compression-molded products and boat repair.

Customers can review different weights, roll dimensions and product types on site, and discuss resin compatibility and specific requirements in line with their own production processes.

Fiberglass Chopped Strands

Fiberglass chopped strands can be divided into several directions by end use, and different applications have different requirements for filament length, sizing and dispersion:

Thermoplastic reinforcement: for PA/PP/PBT engineering plastics modification, masterbatch and plastic pellets — even dispersion, low fuzz and good resin compatibility are required
Thermoset composites (BMC): for compression-molded products such as manhole covers and electrical enclosures
Cement-based materials: AR (alkali-resistant) chopped strands with 16.5% ZrO₂ are used in GRC panels, manhole covers, decorative components and columns, as well as road paving and road reinforcement and UHPC (ultra-high performance concrete)
Other industrial fields: brake pads and clutches, and needle mat (automotive sandwich panels, thermal insulation and exhaust gas treatment)

Fiberglass Mesh

Fiberglass mesh is commonly used in building applications such as wall reinforcement, rendering systems, exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS) and crack resistance. It is also used for stone and marble backing, cement board and gypsum board reinforcement, and roofing waterproofing.

At the booth, customers can discuss specific requirements such as weight, mesh size, coating, roll dimensions and alkali resistance with the YUNIU team.

Fiberglass Roving

Fiberglass roving is the main raw material for FRP molding and structural reinforcement, and is available in several directions according to process and resin system:

Direct Roving: for pipe winding and tank winding, pultruded profiles, geogrid and FRP rebar
Spray Up Roving: for the spray-up process, such as boats, tanks, sanitary ware and pipes
SMC Roving: for SMC/BMC compression-molded products such as water tank panels, gypsum board and electrical switch boxes
ECR Roving: for pultruded profiles, gratings, FRP rebar, cable trays and wind turbine blades
Alkali-resistant Roving: for GRC and the reinforcement of cement- and gypsum-based products
Gypsum Roving: for gypsum board and gypsum decorative products

Fiberglass Woven Roving

Woven roving is woven from fiberglass roving in a plain or twill weave. It offers good resin wet-out and high interlayer strength, and is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. It is commonly used for winding pipes and tanks, boatbuilding, pultruded profiles and FRP lamination reinforcement.

Customers can review different weight, width and roll length specifications on site, and discuss matching options based on their resin system and molding process.
